On 18th April 2013 in the Conference Hall of UNWE, the International Relations Research Student Association / IRRSA /, together with the Student Council of the University of National and World Economy organized a discussion-meeting on the topic :" The Crossroads of the Bulgarian-Macedonian relations" with one of the most prestigious Bulgarian historians - Professor Dimitrov. Students from IRRSA took part in an international seminar 'Sport as a path to active citizenship' from 5-16 of march in Yash, Romania. The project was supported the European Commission 'Youth in action' program. NGOs from seven more countries participatedin the seminar - Romania, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania, Turkey, Italy and Spain. The International Relations Research Students Organisation (IRRSA) organized The International Students Day for a second consecutive year. The event was held on 20 March in The University of National and World Economy.

An interesting debate on the ties between Switzerland and the EU took place at The University of National and World Economy on 11 March. The guest of the discussion was the Bulgarian ambassador in Switzerland Atanas Pavlov. He is one of the founders and former chairman of The Bulgarian Diplomatic Society - an organization of diplomats and experts.

The International Relations Research Students' Association organized an interesting lecture on good manners with the expert on ceremony and head of the protocol direction of the President of Bulgaria, Anatoliy Paziiski. Още 
On 13th February at The University of National and World Economy was held a round table “The Balkans XXI – the Bulgarian vision”. Many diplomats, students, experts and analysts were invited. The event was organized by The International Relations Research Students Association, The Students Diplomatic Club, The Bulgarian Diplomatic Society, The Economy and International Relations Institute, International Relations National Organization and The University of National and World Economy. Workshop ‘Gender equality’ was the first IRRSA event held in 2013. The event is part of the ‘Let women in (WomIN)’ project. Its aim is to make comparison between the role of women in three different societies – in country which is new member of the European Union (Bulgaria), in country which is member-candidate (Turkey) and administrative unit which is not recognized from the international community (Nagorny Karabach/Artsakh Republic).
