On the 26-th of April representatives of IRRSA took part in the initiative „Spring cleaning in Studentski grad“. The initiative is part of the campaigns „Da izchistim Balgaria za edin den“(Let’s clean Bulgaria for a day) and „World cleanup“. Още Educational seminar „Organization and resources management“
In the period between 11th and the 13th of April 2014 an educational seminar „Organization and resources management“, set up by the National youth forum, took place. The main themes, which the seminar touched, were management and team work (efficient management, leader roles, efficient team management, leadership and resources management), conflict management, development of critical and creative thinking. On 9th and 10th April a group of students visited the European Parliament in Brussels. The students were invited by the Bulgarian MP Marusya Lubcheva in connection with the project ‘The refugees in Bulgaria and today’s generation responsibility’. It was organized by the ’International Relations Research Students Association’ in cooperation with the Russian culture and information centre in Sofia. SU Football Cup supported by IRRSA
On 5th April started the official football tournament of the Sofia University ‘SU Football Cup’ which is organized annually by the Students’ Council. This year IRRSA is part of the organization as a partner together with ‘Musala Soft’. The official group stage draw took place in Hall 1 of the Rectorate two days ago. The sixty teams were divided into three tournaments, each consisting of twenty teams. Every tournament is comprised of four five-team groups. The matches played will be 144. On 24th March a discussion about the European values and the future of Union took place at the University of National and World Economy. Official guest was the French ambassador in Sofia H. E. Xavier Lapeyre de Cabanes. His lecture outlined such challenges facing the European union as the rise of the nationalistic parties in the eve of the European elections, the Ukraine crisis and the basis of values that are fundament of the union.
