What is NGO ?
On October 21, Student Association for the Study of International Relations (IRRSA) held an event - training on what the NGOs and how the NGO sector. The event was designed especially for freshmen, but the lecture was joined by students from second and third year, each able to learn and find something useful.
Freshmen had the opportunity to meet with three former presidents of the Association, each of them tried to be as helpful and transmit experience and knowledge derived from work in the NGO sector. Guest speakers were Alexander Ivanov (former chairman of IRRSA and current President of NMF) George Vulev and Elizabeth Bojinova also former Presidents of the Association. Through illustrative examples and questions to three guests were able to give an idea of freshmen for the work of youth organizations, qualities that can gain the benefits that may derive from them.
At the end of the lecture attendees had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers.
IRRSA members in Spain
IRRSA became part again of a youth exchange project under the Erasmus + Programme.
This time it took place in Spain and was entitled “Your is my future”. The main aim of the project was to provoke young people to find different solutions of the problem called “youth unemployment”. The event startedon 6th of March and ended on 15th the same month. Six countries participated- Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Portugal, Lithuania and Croatia. The leaders of the project and also excellent guides were young Spanish people. The atmosphere was extremely friendly and appropriate for discussions connected not only with the unemployment but with various problems that youngsters face today. Още
International Students’ day
The International Students’ Day (ISD) took place on the 12th of March 2015. The event was organized by the International Relations Research Students Association (IRRSA), the Students Council and the Centre for mobility at the University of National and World Economy, Sofia. From February 21st to March 1st , five IRRSA members participated in a youth exchange under the Erasmus + Programme, titled "Common Heritage, Common Future". Organizers of the project were young people from Asociatia Young Initiative, who gathered in Bucharest 30 young people from six countries (Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Portugal, Lithuania and Sweden).
