A Visit of UNWE Students in the MFA
On 25 October (Thursday) UNWE students visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria. The event was a part of the “Welcoming week” campaign organized by IRRSA and Ego politico. The students from Political science, International relations and European studies were kindly invited in the “Antarctica” hall which name was dedicated to the Bulgarian territory on the continent – island Livingston.
In that hall, in a friendly atmosphere they had a conversation with the Director of Diplomatic institute in the MFA – Tanya Mihaylova, about what qualities a diplomat must have. The young people received important information about when and how they can take part in the intern programs of the diplomatic institute which can be a brilliant start to their careers.
The young specialists were taken to a walk around the “black marble” of the MFA and they could see the negotiation rooms in the building, the very rooms where the negotiations of EU membership took place, and they also had the opportunity to take a picture of themselves in their possible future working chairs.
In the library of MFA our students could see some books of true merit, which they have already studied but some of the books were yet to be discovered by them. In the library they got some materials related to the diplomacy and the foreign affairs of our country.
